Необходимостта човек да признава правото на самоопределение и свободен избор на всички равнища на творението, включително в сферата на растенията и животните (флората и фауната), доведе до възникването през ХХ век на едно ново научно-практическо направление - екологията. По своята същност и съдържание тя представлява ново, разумно, неексплоататорско отношение на човека към природата. Особено бурно развитие екологията отбеляза в последните десетилетия на отминалото двадесето столетие и остава все така актуална (дори бихме казали - отличава се с постоянно нарастваща актуалност!) и днес, в началото на ХХ1 век и на третото хилядолетие. Философията на това коренно променено отношение на човешкия род към неговата естествена среда се заключава в следното: не овладяване и господство над природата, а мъдро, хармонично съвместно съжителство с нея.
Развитите западни държави редовно провеждат представителни международни форуми за обсъждане на екологиче ската ситуация на планетарно и регионално ниво. Макар и нелишени от противоречия, продиктувани най-вече от конюнктурни интереси, тези дискусии като правило довеждат до вземането на отговорни решения. Изключително тежко екологическо наследство получиха източноевропейските страни (между които и България) след рухването на тоталитарните режими в тях. Равнището на обществената култура в тези държави все още не предполага максимално точна и обективна оценка на реалното екологическо положение. След като изминаха вече повече от петнадесет години от началото на прехода от тоталитаризъм към демокрация, се оказа, че наличието на политически плурализъм и свобода на словото сами по себе си не са достатъчно условие за повишаване социалните критерии при общуването на човека с природната среда. Затова и в тази насока от особено значение е ролята на духовните общности, учения и школи, които следва да утвърждават качествено нов подход към оценката на екологическата ситуация, както и към средствата за нейното решително подобряване.
8. Свободата характеристика на Новата Култура на VI раса

Оптималното разширяване на съзнанието на съвременното човечество - като главна характеристика на хората от VI раса - е свързано и с хармоничното съчетаване на личната с колективната свобода. Освен всичко останало - това е и свободата на общуването с духовния план на Космоса, с астралното и менталното поле и измерение на мировата еволюция. Човекът на VI коренна раса без всякакво съмнение ще бъде свободен. Без тази опора той не би могъл да изгради онази обществена среда, която Божият Промисъл е заложил като перспектива в нетленната му същност. Ала това ще бъде несъмнено свобода осмислена, осъзната, градивна, без дори и намек за ограничаване свободата на ближния, на растителния и животинския мир - свободата да дишаш чист въздух в един красив, приветлив и приятен за обитаване свят. Свят без сянка на насилие, в който всеки получава условията да разгърне в пълнота потенциала си и да дава най-доброто от себе си в областта, която той сам, свободно е избрал.
Премахването на ограниченията пред свободата, продиктувани от инерцията на традицията или от потребностите на различните исторически епохи, ще доведе и до неизбежна промяна в законо- творчеството, в планетарната система на правото (юрисдикцията) и неговото приложение. Може би именно в периода на VI раса на Земята ще съзреят предпоставките за осъществяване на така старата, но оставаща актуална идея на Платон - изграждането на държава, ръководена от мъдреците. Поне докато отпадне изобщо потребността от наличие на граници между държавите и народите. В личен, индивидуален план свободата на избора вече ще бъде издигната на достоен за нея обществен пиедестал. Но поради неминуемата разлика в степените на еволюционно съзряване между отделните хора поне до определено равнище на хармонизиране на тези различия ще продължат да действат системи на националното и международното право. Рано или късно, под напора на естественото развитие и с благодатната подкрепа на Духа на Времето, те ще отпаднат. По-съществено за всеки член на планетарната общност ще стане неговото собствено отношение към вътрешния закон - гласа на съвестта му, Божия глас в неговото съзнание.
